Wonderful house in a wonderful location with wonderful views. House is as described and beautifully restored - although there is a steep walk to the house - but so worth it for the views! Staff at the hotel were all very helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Wow. AMAZING! Beautifully unique experience. Loved our weekend in the village Jance in this house. Couldn't have asked for a more peaceful place. We've lived in Macedonia for 11 years, and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed in Macedonia.

It was my second time in Jance, in the radika view house. So quiet and a beautiful nature in Jance. Lovely apartment with an amazing view. Also our neighbour Emina was very kind and offered us a coffee.

Radika View House gives a good insight of how is to live in an ancient village in Macedonia. The view is spectacular and the fireplace is cozy. The people are very friendly and we recommend everyone to go there.

This house is really nice. The owner has worked hard to make it functional and has an eye for details. It feels like home - it has soul in it. The view is one of a kind but you will need a jeep/or you will need to hike to reach the house. It was so cozy and warm (the heating works great). Janche is a beautiful and picturesque village. Actually, the whole region will impress you with its natural beauty - powerful mountains, clear sky, rich and colorful forests. The people were also honest and welcoming. We totally recommend it.

This gorgeous home and property are exactly like you see in the pictures. The places just oozes atmosphere and Guido has done such a wonderful job marrying modern comforts and design elements in a beautiful traditional home. We were so comfortable at Radika View House, loved the town, and enjoyed the food at Tutto so much that we plan to be back very soon. For fellow travels who appreciate location, cleanliness, atmosphere and design (probably in that order), Guido's place is exactly what you're looking for.

Great place in cosy village, feels very authentically Macedonian. I'd imagine it would be hard to reach in the winter, and that it could get rather cold as there was a draft in the house, but overall very nice. Dinner and breakfast at restaurant (not included) was great! View and drive there from Skopje was also amazing, highly recommended!

The house is exactly as everyone describes it. Unique, awesome and very calm. It is located in western part of Macedonia which is definitely worth seeing. We checked in at the Hotel which was super easy. Great!

Guido's place is beautiful, we didn't want to leave! The house has been beautifully and thoughtfully restored. The views from every window and the terrace are stunning. We arrived during a heat wave and found a perfect natural swimming pool in the river at the bottom of the village (i left directions in the visitors book). We also walked over the mountain to the next village for a fantastic lunch. The Hotel Tutto is the only place in the village for food which was great - we sat on the balcony and watched the light change in the valley. Absolutely magical place. Will definitely be back. Thanks so much Gido, and to the Tutto Hotel manager for helping with our hire car problem!

Although the house is fantastically renovated, a great property, the real star here is the location. It is absolutely fabulous, tucked away on the mountainside. We only got to spend one night there, but explored a bit and it was superb. You check in via the hotel nearby, which was very easy, and it was nice to have access to the restaurant etc.

staying at Radika view house was fantastic; we were perfectly serviced by staff from Hotel Tutto; the fireplace is a real highlight; everything works properly; the way how Guido restored this house is with great taste and makes a romantic and cozy environment; we would like to stay much more time!

We stayed one night. We had a good experience. We checked in at the local hotel Tutto where the friendly staff member Senan kindly showed us to the property and helped us with our bags. We drove a hire car, the roads to get to the property are mud tracked roads and fairly steep to drive up and down. The house had everything we needed for the night. It was warm without the fire, the decor of the place was amazing! Hats off to Guido for the decor! There are no nearby shops for groceries so you will have to eat at the hotel which is a 10 minute walk, or drive to the nearest town to get groceries. If you don't have a car, I think it would be difficult to get around the area, to be honest I don't even think there is any public transport in the area! None that we saw anyway! At night it is pitch black and you will require a torch to see anything, we got lost trying to find the hotel Tutto again to get a meal in the evening! Thankfully one of the dogs Papi guided us part of the way! Brilliant! All in all a great escape from reality in the mountains, the views are just breathtaking! We highly recommend Guidos place!!!

Janche is a kind of secret heaven in Macedonia and Mr. Guido created a beautiful garden of eden in this tiny village. Radika View House was impressed us. It was humble, elegant and also local. There were every kind of comfort. When you go there, i am sure that you don't want to leave from there. Mr. Guido please touch more houses... And please note that we took small wooden mushroom in order to we couldn't take the home :) Forgive us...

While we did not meet Guido, we were led to his beautiful home by the friendly staff at the hotel. The house was warm and cozy, with a beautiful kitchen and all the necessary things to make wonderful meals and be comfortable. The home had a lovely rustic feel, nestled right in the mountains. We walked around the village, hiked along the mountain paths and enjoyed an amazing romantic mountain getaway.

Guido did answer very quickly. In Janche, we didn't meet Guido, but Tefik, the owner of Hotel Tutto. He was very nice and helpful. He helped us driving up... The Radika house is lovely furnished and has an amazing view. We enjoyed our stay in Janche. I would recommend it to everyone travelling in Macedonia.

Radika House is a very special place to spend time in. It's in a perfect location. The village is small, peaceful and beautiful, even in the worst weather conditions. The house is a blend of the old (authentic) and the new (modern) type of living. Guido has worked hard to make the stay as easy and yet as involving as possible for the guests of the house. He is a great host and he will make sure you have a good time. If you are seeking for isolation, peace, free thoughts and a majestic view, look no further! I'm pretty sure we'll come back during summer.

We did not meet Guido as he was in Italy - but he was responding to everything extremely fast. The personnel of Hotel Tutto were super friendly and just gave us the best service ever - extra blankets, umbrellas and so on. The village itself is extremely picturesque and I would undoubtedly come back. The house is super cozy, a pleasure to be in, you constantly weight in the prospects of enjoying the home or enjoying the hiking (it was raining while we were there so we mostly enjoyed the home). Would honestly love to stay much longer. Thank you very much Guido for the excellent stay.

We stayed at Guido's place over Xmas for 5 days. It really is a magical place. The house is in a spectacular location, nestled in a valley surrounded by snow capped peaks. The village was very quiet, and we came away recharged and raving about Macedonia. We ate in Guido's hotel (a 5 minute walk away) twice and were made to feel extremely welcome and the food was fantastic. I would recommend letting them order the traditional Macedonian food for you. Every suggestion they made was delicious. The rest of the time we ate in the house. It is very well equipped, and had everything we needed, even to make our Xmas feast! It was very warm and cosy, even when below freezing outside. We were 3 adults, and there was plenty of room for us all. There are excellent walks directly from the house, and other great walks throughout the national park. We were blessed with sunshine every day so we it was excellent walking weather. This was one of the nicest airbnb places I have stayed in and I highly recommend staying here. I would definitely stay again, and was the highlight of our trip in Macedonia.

A beautiful house with a stunning view. We really didn't want to leave. The place was perfect. Guido met us to hand over the key and made sure we understood the house and how the heating works etc. and it was no hassle at all checking in. I would absolutely recommend this house for a visit to the Balkans!

Hard to leave ....... Guido's house is in a beautiful, old mountainside village which is quiet, peaceful & friendly. He has renovated the house sympathetically to a comfortable standard and everything is provide to make our stay enjoyable. There was a mix up on our arrival & we emailed Guido, who was out of the country at the time, and within 15 minutes staff were there to rectify the situation. His communication has always be fast and helpful. We hope to return one day to this fabulous home and hope the village of Janche does not change too much and lose it's charm. We will definitely recommend Guido as a host and his home as a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Guido!

We werden hartelijke ontvangen bij Hotel Tutto, waarna iemand met ons meereed om de weg naar het huisje te wijzen. Het huisje was mooi gerestaureerd, en van alle gemakken voor zien. Eten kan prima bij Hotel Tutto. De omgeving vonden we prachtig. Guido reageerde snel op onze berichten. We raden aan je auto bij het hotel te laten staan, zelf hebben we een uur vast gestaan met de auto op het zandpad richting het huisje (het was erg slecht weer, veel regenval). Medewerkers van het hotel hebben ons geholpen los te komen. We raden een verblijf in Radika View House zeker aan.

We arrived to Macedonia and drove straight from Skopje airport to Guido's place. We got there at night after taking a wrong turn on the way. Guido was in touch with us all the way and instructed us how to get there and also waited for us to welcome us. The cabin is exquisite and rare. It's is beautifully renovated and fully equipped for a small family. All the facilities are new, clean and well maintained. Guido is extremely welcoming and responsive. He even specially arranged us with a baby crib for our 1/yo baby so we'll sleep even more comfortably. The bed is very big and the kitchen is equipped like a real kitchen and not just for show. The view from the house is beautiful, it's located at the edge of Janche from a top and you can see all of Janche below and the mountains above. Another thing that doesn't get mentioned is that one of the nicest hikes in the area from Janche to Galichnik literlally starts from the house entrance. It's about 4 hours going to Galichnik and back on a beautiful trail spotted with breath taking views. If you want you can buy some groceries in Debar (15 minutes drive) and cook for yourself or if you prefer eating out there's Hotel Tutto, the only restaurant in Janche which is a 5 min walking distance away. I highly recommend this place.

The property is beautifully decorated with unbelievable views in a very friendly village. The open log fire was definitely a highlight and quite literally the comfiest bed we have ever slept in!

We talked a lot with the cow and the goats around the house. We stayed two nights longer. Everything we needed was there, the only thing we misted was an orangepress, so we bought you one and added it to the kitchen. Tomorrow we will leave for Ochrid. So, thank you very much. "Exquisite and rare"
It is beautifully renovated and fully equipped for a small family. All the facilities are new, clean and well maintained. The bed is very big and the kitchen is equipped like a real kitchen and not just for show. The view from the house is beautiful, it's located at the edge of Janche from a top and you can see all of Janche below and the mountains above. Another thing that doesn't get mentioned is that one of the nicest hikes in the area from Janche to Galichnik literally starts from the house entrance. Michael D. (Israel), August 2015 |

Guido's house is in a beautiful, old mountainside village which is quiet, peaceful & friendly. He has renovated the house sympathetically to a comfortable standard and everything is provide to make our stay enjoyable. “A blend of old and new”
Radika House is a very special place to spend time in. It's in a perfect location. The village is small, peaceful and beautiful, even in the worst weather conditions. The house is a blend of the old (authentic) and the new (modern) type of living. Guido has worked hard to make the stay as easy and yet as involving as possible for the guests of the house. He is a great host and he will make sure you have a good time. If you are seeking for isolation, peace, free thoughts and a majestic view, look no further! "A magical place"
We stayed at Guido's place over Xmas for 5 days. It really is a magical place. The house is in a spectacular location, nestled in a valley surrounded by snow capped peaks. The village was very quiet, and we came away recharged and raving about Macedonia. We ate in the hotel (a 5 minute walk away) twice and were made to feel extremely welcome and the food was fantastic. I would recommend letting them order the traditional Macedonian food for you. Every suggestion they made was delicious. The rest of the time we ate in the house. It is very well equipped, and had everything we needed, even to make our Xmas feast! It was very warm and cosy, even when below freezing outside. We were 3 adults, and there was plenty of room for us all. There are excellent walks directly from the house, and other great walks throughout the national park. We were blessed with sunshine every day so we it was excellent walking weather. This was one of the nicest airbnb places I have stayed in and I highly recommend staying here. "Super cozy"
The village itself is extremely picturesque and I would undoubtedly come back. The house is super cozy, a pleasure to be in, you constantly weight in the prospects of enjoying the home or enjoying the hiking (it was raining while we were there so we mostly enjoyed the home).
